Constructed from rust-proof zinc alloy with a lock-in screw mechanism, the Avibo hook is designed to meet your everyday needs. However, it is not recommended for continuous exposure to seawater or alkaline liquids, as these may lead to gradual degradation of the product. Despite our carefully crafted chromium plating, zinc is susceptible to chemical reactions with alkaline ions, especially in harsh marine environments. We are actively working on developing a marine steel hook to cater to this specific use case.

Conforming to Acme thread standards, the Avibo hook is compatible with extension poles that adhere to these specifications, including popular brands like Extend-a-reach, Docazoo, and Eversprout. While some broomsticks and painter's poles may have varying thread designs that deviate from Acme standards, we are working on introducing custom threads with wider tolerances to accommodate these variations. This update is expected to be available for purchase in the second quarter of this year.
